Papa Joe
Even before Hohepa Delamere was born, his mother was told by her great-grandfather, that she would give birth to a very special child. It would come to revive the ancient tradition of Maori Healing. This child would teach how to use the bush-medicine again, clean energy from various fields, learn people about cosmic travelling and much more. The ancients were aware of the specific nature and the great knowledge, which this child would bring.
Hohepa Delamere, besides his studies of Master of Engineering (Auckland University), Bachelor of Maori Studies (Auckland Institute of Technology), Diploma of Teaching (Auckland College of Education) was passionately devoted to the Maori Healing.
His spent his entire time and energy in order to spread this method of treatment. Maori Healing includes a deep massage (Romiromi), spiritual counselling and support (Mirimiri) and the use of Maori medicine (Rongoa Maori). Papa Joe, as he was called by the people, travelled through the whole world with his team. He taught and treated successfully a lot of people. Ezard Tamaki was one of the best of his team and he has worked with him for years.
Papa Joe was also a midwife and helped many children come to the world. He had a very great knowledge of natural conception. He also treated infertility and many couples great wish for children was fulfilled.
With his exceptional knowledge, he had a large accessibility on the physical and emotional realm. Within the Maori culture he had the status of the tohunga, which means healer, elder and priest.

Papa Joe
One of his most important lessons is HIHA
H = Honor (go through life with the greatest possible respect for yourself)
I = Integrity (make sure that your thoughts have the complete integrity with the Divine)
H = Honesty (be honest with all aspects of your being and don’t force yourself)
A = Appreciation (appreciate yourself, the life lessons you get and also the ones beside you and the environment, so that they receive the space they need for their own lessons)
Don’t let anyone or anything stop you to became the one you would like to be.
Despite his phenomenal healing qualities and the unlimited knowledge available to him, he always remained a very accessible and loving person. He had a very good sense of humour and loved laughing.
On 21th of September 2006, he died unexpectedly in his homecountry Aotearoa (New Zealand).
His knowledge and wisdom that he has spread passionately is constantly enlivened by those who continue to pursue his work.
