“Clear away the obstacles so that the
pathway forward may be seen ~
turn your face to the world of light
for the generations yet unborn
are waiting for you …”
Ezard Tamaki

Ezard Tamaki
Ezard Tamaki was born in New Zealand in the Ngati Ngawaero tribe and grew up with all aspects of Maori culture. Since his youth he is in direct contact with the vast heritage of his ancestors.
He is trained in the traditional ways of fighting and weapons. Also the use of healing plants from the forest and the sea.
Ezard works today as healer and professional woodcarver. But he makes also the traditional tattooing if requested. Traditional tattooing is a process which takes a lot physical and mental purification and it has some similarity with a healing process.
For him Maori healing is not a learned profession, but rather reflects the blue print which the Maori healers inherited. Healing is in the DNA and part of the Maori autonomy, culture and the environment, including their physical and mental attitude. Healing is an integral part of daily life, which for centuries has remained till these days.
Ezard is specialized in treatment regarding infertility, connective tissue massage and healing through the pressure points, mainly at the feet. He also cleans buildings and land which is occupied by unwanted energies.
He is convinced that it belongs to his destiny to share what he has learned from his ancestors with as many people as possible.
Rex Tamaki

Rex Tamaki
Rex is the younger brother of Ezard and also belongs to the Ngati Ngawaero tribe. He is a gentle and modest man, whose voice and personality is very reassuring. Rex is an attentive listener and a very good observer who holds enormous cultural knowledge and customs of the Maori culture.
Like his brother he is also trained in fighting with the weapons of his tribe and has received training under the Maurakan Method.
After several years of residence abroad Rex returned to New Zealand in 2007 to develope further in the tradition of the Maori Healing.
One of his great gifts is that he breaks through personal barriers and encourages people to accept their own reality.
Holistic healing is a part of his tribe for centuries and lives for Rex in daily life. In recent years he has learned a lot from his brother for whom he became an essential support.
Rex is convinced that growth is the essence of life for the physical and spiritual being.
Souvenir Tamaki

Souvenir Tamaki
Kia mau ki te Kupu
Hei Kookiritia
Te Rongo aa te Puu-Manawa
Hold on to the wise words of our ancestors.
This is the initiation to greater awareness,
to a higher consciousness.
Souvenir Tamaki was born in Te Awamutu in New Zealand. From her father Ezard she learns all of the aspects of their culture and since her childhood she has participated in the Maori Healing. She was present in many of the Healing workshops of Papa Hohepa Delamere whose wisdom, knowledge and patience she admired. He has left behind a great legacy and she experienced it as a great honour to have worked with him and her father together in America in 2005.
Since then she’s on her father’s side and assists him in Maori Healing in New Zealand and abroad. Through his supervision and support it is possible for her to continue the Maori Healing in her life.
Souvenir feels strongly connected to her grandmother. “I thank my grandmother, after whom I was called, and want to honour her with my work. Since my childhood I was able to observe the old ways of our culture and see how my grandmother has kept and continued the traditions in honour. Thank you, Nanny! ”
